There is no place like Gotland in the summer. This small island in the Baltic sea has been a popular destination for decades. The island boasts a stunning somewhat rough nature and an enormously rich history. In recent years this island is perhaps most famous for week 29 when the invasion from Stockholm arrives with the urge to party and pour out champagne.
Regardless of this being your cup of tea or not, there is plenty more to do and see. Stroll the streets of Visby or take a trip around the island and find yourself a secluded beach. Either way, book the ferry or take the flight, Gotland won’t disappoint. To guide you in the right direction we have listed our favorite spots for dining.
