Asket work hard to convey the inherent value of a garment and manage that with transparent pricing, supply chain traceability, factory insights as well as the impact receipt. But nothing quite conveys the value of a garment better than getting tactile; feeling the quality of the material, appreciating the detail of the design and trying it for size. Retail playing a very important role in customer's journey and understanding. That’s why Asket announces the opening of their store in Stockholm. The store will be located at 1 Norrmalmstorg. Bibliotekstan is a heritage area, one that harks back to a time where clothes were better appreciated, people knew how to distinguish quality fibres, and worked to take care of their garments. With that in mind the area has a wonderful synergy with what Asket trying to achieve in helping to restore that appreciation of garments. In choosing this location they want to remind people that slow is here to last - and fast is a thing of the past. Just as with the brands online environment, there will be an unambiguous focus on sharing the inherent value of every garment. Beyond that they also want to encourage people to get tactile with the pieces, with a lounge area that encourages long dwell times and considered purchasing decisions - or not purchasing at all. And there won’t be any obvious sales registers, a subtle reminder that this isn’t a place for overconsumption. Working with architects Specific Generic they are creating a space that will be fresh, uncomplicated and concise - just like us and our garments. The store is planed to be opened up in May and we can't wait to visit. Until then, make sure to visit their online store here.
In the next few months, Asket will open up their first physical store in Stockholm located at Norrmalmstorg 1. Just as with the brand's online environment, there will be an unambiguous focus on sharing the inherent value of every garment and we can't wait to visit.
