The hotel, which has been carefully renovated and rebuilt under the direction of the architects at Tengbom, is located in a well-preserved Art Nouveau property, next door newly renovated Östermalmshallen. The property has been converted into one beautiful boutique hotel with the feeling of a modern international city villa - a home in the city for personal meetings that combines with excellent service, food and drink experiences and relaxation.

Behind the hotel's interior design are Anna Cappelen and interior designer Per Öberg interior designer Helena Belfrage. They have taken inspiration from their travels around Europe. Villa Dagmar stays an eclectic home filled with carefully selected details, Scandinavian design, international furniture classics and exclusively designed furniture by Per Öberg. The interior should provide an inspiring overall experience and convey the feeling of visiting someone's unique city villa and a home to long back to. The hotel's 70 rooms and suites overlook Nybrogatan or the magnificent courtyard, the heart of the hotel. reminiscent of a cozy Italian piazza with a food and wine bar, surrounded by a restaurant, a combined concept and flower shop, a holistic spa and direct connection to Östermalms Saluhall. Restaurant Villa Dagmar, which is run in close collaboration with star restaurateurs Daniel Höglander and Niklas Jönsson (the founders of the Michelin-starred restaurant Aloë and Rinos Bodega) gets a clear modern international atmosphere. The menu is characterized by Mediterranean cuisine with many small exciting dishes.
